Tabitha - Paralegal

Tabitha Johnson (Nance) is a long time resident of Cedar County. She attended Stockton R-1 Schools, from Kindergarten through her high school graduation. Tabitha's career began at an attorney's office in Bolivar, several years ago.  From there she worked with the Cedar County Circuit Court under the direction of Cedar County Circuit Clerk, Melinda Gumm. She then went on to work at the Cedar County Prosecuting Attorney's office, under Michael Ash. Following that time, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Missouri Southern State University, with a major in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Law Enforcement. Tabitha attended the Missouri Southern State University Law Enforcement Academy and obtained her Missouri Department of Public Safety POST Class A Certification. From there, she began working for the Cedar County Sheriff's Office as a Cedar County Sherriff's Deputy. Tabitha has performed her public servant duties for 11 years now. As Tabitha makes the transition back into the legal realm, she is excited to be working for Nicole Barrett. She hopes her different legal and justice system experiences from the past will help Barrett Law, LLC continue to grow and be a benefit to our community.

Tabitha's proudest moment is being a wife and a mother, and she describes her kids as "Awesome". In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Tabitha truly loves the outdoors. Her and her family enjoy kayaking, and spending time on the river is one of her favorite things to do. Tabitha, her husband, and children love to ride their SxS through different trails and in the sand dunes. She describes the scenery and family/friend time as "Magnificent". Tabitha also picked up golfing as a hobby years ago, and although frustrating, she loves the challenge.
